What is Spring Airlines?
Spring Airlines was established by Spring Group in 2005 with the aim of "making flying affordable for everyone." In 2006, the average price of a Spring Airlines ticket was 36% lower than the standard market price; totaling savings of over two billion RMB for our passengers. Spring Airlines is the first airline in China to have designed and launched its own ticket sales system, allowing customers to conveniently book, pay and check-in via internet or mobile phone.

What kind of aircraft does Spring Airlines use?
Spring Airlines use only the Airbus 320. As one of the worlds most popular passenger jets it is proven to be safe, comfortable and reliable. Spring Airlines fleet of Airbus 320s is expanding every year.

Does Spring Airlines provide complimentary refreshments?
In order to keep traveling costs to a minimum, Spring Airlines has removed the cost of on-board catering. After careful research, it was discovered that most complimentary on-board dishes are not consumed, resulting in wasted capacity and food. Spring Airlines provides complimentary water and a tasty menu for passengers consideration, but does not provide free meals on board any of its flights.

Does Spring Airlines offer good customer service?
In accordance with Spring Airlines belief in "low-cost and high-quality" it will provide service to make every passenger feel at home in the sky. For Spring Airlines, customary bows and bright smiles come at no extra cost.

How many type of class can Spring Airlines offer us?
Spring Airlines offers only economy class tickets, though three standards of ticket are available for purchase. These tickets offer different levels of pre-flight service and flexibility at different prices. No matter which class selected, the service provided by the carrier on the aircraft will be the same.
Class A - Offers greater flexibility for canceling and altering flight plans.
Class B - Cheaper priced ticket suitable to those who do not require the flexibility of the Class A service. Passengers flying Class B receive the same great care on board, though with greater restriction on pre-flight alterations. Class C - Class C tickets offer minimal flexibility to those wishing to cancel or alter their flights.
Children Class
Spring Airlines child tickets: eligibility guidelines.
Children must be accompanied when flying upon a Spring Airlines flights. A child tickets can only be purchased in addition to the ticket of an accompanying adult.
Those under two years of age at the time of traveling are eligible for an infant ticket. Those from 2-12 years of age at the time of traveling must purchase a child ticket.
Those passengers carrying a ticket they are not eligible for will not be allowed to board and are solely responsible for expenses incurred.
Please consider your requirements carefully before purchasing.

What is the luggage allowance for Spring Airlines?
Free Baggage Allowance(include checked baggage,hand-carry baggage and free articles taken by passengers)is 15 kg. Passengers should pay for overweight baggage at a rate of 1.5% of the economy class fare per 1 kg over weight.Attentions: Spring Airlines does not follow the International Air Transport Association free baggage allowance.

Carry-on baggage
The size the articles taken by passengers should be smaller than 20 * 30 * 40 cm and its total weight should be less than 5 kg.
The weight of carry-on baggage is calculated as part of your total baggage allowance. Charges for over-weight carry-on baggage are calculated at the same rate as specified above.
Passengers are also subject to standard travel restrictions in regard to carry-on luggage. Restricted items include aerosols, liquids and gels. Passengers carrying medicine may be required to provide proof of need. These restrictions only apply to carry-on luggage.
Children holding an air ticket are entitled to bear the full luggage allowance of 15 kg including checked and carry-on luggage. Please note that ticket holders are allowed only one item of carry-on luggage, which is subject to the restrictions specified above.

Checked baggage
Please check in baggage at the Spring Airlines counter.
Total baggage allowance is 15 kilograms (including checked baggage and hand baggage). Excess baggage charges are calculated at 1.5% of the stated economy class fare per additional kilogram.
Only one item of carry-on baggage is permitted per passenger. This article should not exceed 20cm*30cm*40cm, with a total weight of less than 5 kg. The weight of luggage which is more than 5kg should be checked. If your luggage exceeds the limit, Spring Airline is entitled to have you check your luggage. If you refuse our request, Spring Airline has rights to refuse to transport it.
Holders of infant tickets are not permitted baggage allowance.

What procedure does Spring Airlines follow in the event of cancellation or delay?
Spring Airlines will make every effort to avoid delay or cancellation or any of failure to operate flights as scheduled. If Spring Airlines is at fault for a flight delayed for 4 hours up to 22:00, Spring Airlines will arrange a standard room with toilet facilities for all passengers that require accommodation.
If delays are not the fault of the carrier, Spring Airlines will provide all assistance possible to passengers, though not pay for meals and accommodation.
If a flight is canceled or delayed for more than 3 hours, passengers can choose to take the next Spring Airlines flight or ask for a refund without additional payment. Refunds will be paid at the point of departure.
Refunds should be claimed within thirty days. Refunds can claimed for all classes of ticket. Spring Airlines does not accept liability for circumstances or occurrences extending from delays or cancellations.


What passenger restrictions does Spring Airlines enforce?
A) Passengers with special conditions, disabilities or medical concerns need the agreement of Spring Airlines before boarding. Unaccompanied children also require approval.
B) Spring Airlines reserve the right to deny passage for the following reasons.
Neglecting to observe state laws, government regulations and orders.
Passengers with unstable physical, mental or behavioral conditions that may be hazardous to themselves or other
passengers.
Passengers that do not comply with the instructions of staff.
Passengers that refuse inspection by security personnel.
Passengers that have failed to pay for their ticket.
Passengers unable to provide valid proof of identification for the name the ticket is registered under.
Passengers carrying tickets that have been reported lost or stolen or tickets that have been altered by an unofficial source.
Passengers holding tickets proven to be invalid.

Is it possible for pregnant women to fly with Spring Airlines?
We transport pregnant women if they are less than 32 weeks pregnant, on the condition that they have not been passed as unsuitable for flying by a doctor. Women between 32 and 35 weeks pregnant require written confirmation from their doctor that they are able to fly. The doctors letter should be supplied within 72 hours of departure and include the doctors signature and the stamp of the regional medical authority. For passenger safety, women over 35 weeks pregnant are not permitted to fly with Spring Airlines. Those unsure of the delivery date, those within four weeks of delivery date and those expecting multiple births are not permitted to fly. It is also not permissible for woman to fly less than seven days after childbirth. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Class A

Cancellations
When a cancellation is made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time, a cancellation fee of 5% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For a cancellation applied for 2 to 24 hours prior to the flight departure, a cancellation fee of 10% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For a cancellation applied for within 2 hours prior to the flight departure, a cancellation fee of 20% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. Cancellations made after flight departure will incur a charge of 50% of the original ticket fare.

Alterations
When an alteration is made 24 hours or more before departure, no charge will be incurred. For an alteration made 2 to 24 hours before departure, an alteration fee of 5% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For an alteration made within 2 hours prior to the flight departure, an alteration fee of 10% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. Alterations made after flight departure will incur a chare of 30% of the original ticket fare.
Alterations are only permissible to flights of the same standard. Any additional cost caused by an alteration must be paid by the passenger.
Reservations
Reservations made successfully will be preserved for 60 minutes. The system will cancel your reservation if your payment is failed or you fail to pay for your ticket within 60 minutes.

Class B

Cancellations
When a cancellation is made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time, a cancellation fee of 10% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For a cancellation applied for 2 to 24 hours prior to the flight departure, a cancellation fee of 20% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For a cancellation applied for within 2 hours prior to the flight departure, a cancellation fee of 30% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. There will be no refunds for cancellations made after departure.

Alterations
When an alteration is made 24 hours or more before departure, an alteration fee of 5% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For an alteration made 2 to 24 hours before departure, an alteration fee of 10% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For an alteration made within 2 hours prior to the flight departure, an alteration fee of 20% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. No alterations can be made after departure.
Alterations are only permissible to flights of the same standard. Any additional cost caused by an alteration must be paid by the passenger.
Reservations
Reservations made successfully will be preserved for 60 minutes. The system will cancel your reservation if your payment is failed or you fail to pay for your ticket within 60 minutes.
Attentions: Some tickets of Class B which have a special discount (higher than discount of 60%) cannot be made transferring, cancellations and alterations. Please pay attention to the terms when you buy the tickets.

Cancellations made after flight departure will incur a charge of 50% of the original ticket fare.

Alterations

For an alteration made 2 to 24 hours before departure, an alteration fee of 5% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For an alteration made within 2 hours prior to the flight departure, an alteration fee of 10% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. Alterations made after flight departure will incur a chare of 30% of the original ticket fare.
Reservations
Reservations made successfully will be reserved for 60 minutes. The system will cancel your reservation if you fail to pay for your ticket within 60 minutes.

There is no alteration fee or cancelation fee when infant tickets are altered or cancelled.
For child ticket alteration and cancelation, the processing fee rate will be calculated according to the regulations of Class A tickets. (70% of the full price or more).

Class C

Cancellations & alterations
Tickets of Class C are sold at the highest discount and are subject to the least flexible terms and conditions. They can only be booked and paid for through the website.
There will be no refunds after purchasing a class C ticket. Only air tax and fuel surcharges can be refunded.
No alterations and transfers to other flights can be made to class C tickets after purchasing.
Notes:
Passengers cancelling bookings due to ill health must submit a sealed document of diagnosis from a medical officer at county administration level or higher. No cancellation fee will be charged to those who meet this requirement. If accompanying passengers also wish to cancel, only one other from that party may do so without incurring a cancellation fee.
