Policies and procedures are subject to change at short notice, or without prior notice where applicable. While every effort is made to ensure that all the information on this site is updated and correct, Spring Airlines will not be held responsible for any loss, direct or indirect, resulting from use of this information.
Terms and conditions in application The terms and conditions contained in this document shall relate to all services provided by Spring Airlines and the application of all fares, rates, and charges. These terms and conditions apply only to Spring Airlines' published routes and services. Spring Airlines reserve the right to amend these conditions at any time. Applicable terms and conditions are those in effect as of the date a passenger commences travel on a given itinerary. For full details of terms and conditions regarding our service, please refer to General Conditions of Domestic Carriage for Passengers and Baggage on Spring Airlines. In case of any discrepancy between the official Chinese version and any other version of the document, if any, the official Chinese version shall take precedence.

Booking terms and conditions

To make a reservation, please send an email to our customer service team or fill out our online registration form. It is highly recommended that customers book tickets online. Any booking you may make via a third party website or travel agent other than our authorized agent may be cancelled without notice or refund. Spring Airlines reserves the right to deny carriage to any ticket-holder found to be in violation of the terms and conditions of Spring Airlines or relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.


Ticket

General Provisions
Spring Airlines will provide carriage only to the Passenger named in the Ticket, and you may be required to produce appropriate identification as the Passenger named in the Ticket.
A Ticket is not transferable.
Some Tickets are sold at discounted fares which may be partially or completely non-refundable.
You should choose the fare that best suits to your needs.
If you have a Ticket, which is completely unused, and you are prevented from traveling due to Force Majeure, we will provide you with a credit of the non-refundable amount of the fare, for future travel on us, subject to deduction of a reasonable administration fee, provided that you promptly advise us and furnish evidence of such Force Majeure.
The Ticket is and remains at all times the property of the issuing carrier.
Except in the case of an Electronic Ticket, you shall not be entitled to be carried on a flight unless you present a valid Ticket containing the Flight Coupon for that flight and all other unused Flight Coupons and the Passenger Coupon. In addition, you shall not be entitled to be carried if the Ticket presented is mutilated or if it has been altered, other than by us or our Authorized Agent. In the case of an Electronic Ticket, you shall not be entitled to be carried on a flight unless you provide positive identification and a valid Electronic Ticket that has been duly issued in your name.
( a )In case of loss or mutilation of a Ticket (or part of it) by you or non-presentation of a Ticket containing the Passenger Coupon and all unused Flight Coupons, upon your request and after our validation, we will replace such Ticket (or part of it) by issuing a new Ticket, provided there is evidence, readily ascertainable at the time, that a Ticket valid for the flight(s) in question was duly issued and you sign an agreement to reimburse us for any costs and losses, up to the value of the original Ticket, which are necessarily and reasonably incurred by us or another carrier for misuse of the Ticket. We will not claim reimbursement from you for any such losses which result from our own negligence. The issuing carrier may charge a reasonable administration fee for this service, unless the loss or mutilation was due to the negligence of the issuing carrier, or its agent.
( b ) Where such evidence is not available or you do not sign such an agreement, the carrier issuing the new Ticket may require you to pay up to the full Ticket price for a replacement Ticket, subject to refund if and when the original issuing carrier is satisfied that the lost or mutilated Ticket has not been used within one year after the ticket issuing date or the travel commencement date. A ticket is valuable and you should take appropriate measures to safeguard it and ensure that it is not lost or stolen.
Spring Airlines will not give a refund to any passenger who terminates travel on their own accord before the conclusion of a multi-destination flight.


Payment terms and conditions
Payment
Passengers may book online and pay through PayPal and BilltoBill. Both are recommended secure ways of transferring payment over the internet.
Payment through PayPal
Following initial booking, passengers are given 60 minutes to pay via PayPal. Bookings not paid for within that time period will be cancelled automatically upon expiration.

Please note, electronic cheques can not be used for purchasing air tickets.
Note: If either PayPal or Spring Airlines has reason to believe that the payment may be fraudulent, we reserve the right to put the reservation on hold and require another method of payment.

Failure to operate as scheduled

SPECIAL NOTIFICATION OF LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES IN CASE OF FLIGHT DELAY OR CANCELLATION The Chinese version of this part will be the legally binding instrument:敬奉我们的旅客
SPRING AIRLINES WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO AVOID DELAY OR CANCELLATION OR ANY OF FAILURE TO OPERATE FLIGHTS AS SCHEDULED. IF SPRING AIRLINES IS AT FAULT FOR A FLIGHT DELAYED FOR MORE THAN 4 HOURS AND LATER THAN 22:00, SPRING AIRLINES WILL ARRANGE A STANDARD ROOM WITH TOILET FACILITIES FOR ALL PASSENGERS THAT REQUIRE ACCOMMODATION.
IF DELAYS ARE NOT CAUSED BY THE FAULT OF THE CARRIER, SPRING AIRLINES WILL PROVIDE ALL ASSISTANCE POSSIBLE TO PASSENGERS; THOUGH NOT PAY FOR MEALS AND ACCOMMODATION.
IF A FLIGHT IS CANCELED OR DELAYED FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS, PASSENGERS CAN CHOOSE TO TAKE THE NEXT SPRING AIRLINES FLIGHT OR ASK FOR A REFUND WITHOUT ADDITIONAL PAYMENT. REFUNDS WILL BE PAID AT THE POINT OF DEPARTURE. IF A DELAY OR ERROR OCCURS DURING A MULTI-DESTINATION ITINERARY, SPRING AIRLINES WILL ONLY FURNISH PASSENGERS WITH A REFUND FOR THE REMAINING FLIGHTS IN THE ITINERARY.
REFUNDS MUST BE CLAIMED WITHIN THIRTY DAYS. REFUNDS CAN CLAIMED FOR ALL CLASSES OF TICKET. SPRING AIRLINES DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR OCCURRENCES EXTENDING FROM DELAYS OR CANCELLATIONS.
IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE SPECIAL LIMITATIONS SPECIFIED IN THESE CONDITIONS, INCLUDING OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF BAGGAGE OR CABIN SERVICE AS SHOWN BELOW OR ANYWHERE ELSE, YOU ARE ADVISED NOT TO BUY TICKETS OR FLY WITH SPRING AIRLINES.

Check-in procedure and requirement
Ticket counters of Spring Airlines will provide a check-in service from 90 minutes before the departure of their flight till 45 minutes prior to departure.
Valid travel documentation is required by all passengers (including infants) traveling on Spring Airlines flights. It is each passenger's personal responsibility to ensure that he or she has valid travel documentation which meets the requirements of Spring Airlines and China government. Passengers should carry a valid passport (and visa if applicable) or government issued national identification card on all journeys. No expired or damaged forms of photo-ID will be accepted on any flight. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of breach of these requirements shall be paid by or charged to the passenger.
Details of all passengers' travel documents (including those of children and infants) must be entered during the check-in process. All passengers must present valid travel document along with their boarding pass at airport security and at the boarding gate for all flights.
Boarding regulations
You should be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Boarding closes 20 minutes prior to departure. If you arrive at the boarding gate later than this you will not be accepted for travel. To travel on a later flight, you may be required to purchase a new ticket.
Only one item of unchecked baggage will be permitted to carried on board.
Your valid travel document matching the details on your boarding pass must be produced for inspection at airport security and the boarding gate.
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund and to deny you boarding if you do not comply with the above boarding requirements.
Baggage
Free Baggage Allowance per passenger(include checked baggage,hand-carry baggage and any other articles taken into cabin by the passenger)is 15 kg subject to other conditions. Passengers should pay for any baggage in excess of this allowance at a rate of 1.5% of the full price of the published economy class fare per 1 kg over weight.
Any baggage weighing more than 5kg shall be checked. If your luggage exceeds the limit, Spring Airlines requires you to check your luggage. If you refuse this request, Spring Airlines may refuse to transport it.
Holders of infant tickets shall have no free baggage allowance.
Attentions: Spring Airlines does not follow recommended standards of the International Air Transport Association for free baggage allowance which normally is 30 kg for international travel.
Unchecked Baggage
The size of any unchecked baggage(namely carry-on baggage or hand-carry baggage, including any other articles taken into cabin by the passenger)should be smaller than 20 cm * 30 cm * 40 cm and its total weight should be less than 5 kg. Any over-sized or over-weighted baggage shall be transported as checked baggage.
The weight of carry-on baggage is calculated as part of your total baggage allowance. Charges for over-weight carry-on baggage are calculated at the same rate as specified above.
Passengers are also subject to standard travel restrictions in regard to carry-on luggage. Restricted items include aerosols, liquids and gels. Passengers carrying medicine may be required to provide proof of need.
Childrens tickets are entitled to the same baggage Allowance of 15 kg.
Please note once more that ticket holders are allowed only one item of carry-on luggage, which is subject to the size and weight restrictions specified above.
Checked baggage
Please check in baggage at the Spring Airlines counter.
Insurance

Spring Airlines highly recommends that you purchase full flight insurance. If you are interested in more information on where and how to buy insurance, we will be happy to assist you.
Refusal of transportation

Carrier will refuse to transport any passenger under the following circumstances:
1. At the request of the government for reasons of aviation safety or to comply with any China Civil Aviation Law or other applicable government regulation, or to comply with any governmental request for emergency transportation in connection with national defence, or whenever such action is necessary or advisable by reason of weather or other conditions beyond Carrier's control (including, without limitation, acts of God, force majeure, strikes, civil commotions, embargoes, wars, hostilities, or disturbances, whether actual, threatened, or reported).
2. Passengers who have been requested to submit to a search of his or her person or property for explosives, hazardous materials, contraband, or concealed, deadly or dangerous weapons and articles.
3. Any passenger who refuses on request to produce positive identification. Carrier shall have the right to require positive identification of persons purchasing tickets and/or presenting a ticket for the purpose of boarding aircraft.
4. Comfort and Safety - Carrier may refuse to transport or remove from the aircraft at any point any passenger in the following categories as may be necessary for the comfort or safety of that passenger or other passengers:
Persons who are known to be afflicted by a contagious disease;
Persons who refuse to comply with instructions given by Spring Airlines employees.
Persons who are carrying items which are prohibited by law or reasonably considered by us to be unsuitable for carriage because they are dangerous, unsafe, or by reason of their weight, size, shape or character, or which are fragile or perishable having regard to, among other things, the type of aircraft being used. Information about unacceptable items is available upon request.
Infants aged 14 days or less or while prematurely born 90 days or less.
Persons who are unwilling or unable to abide by Spring Airlines non-smoking rules.
Persons who neglect to observe state laws, government regulations and orders.
Persons with unstable physical, mental or behavioral conditions that may be hazardous to themselves or other passengers.
Persons that refuse inspection by security personnel.
Persons that have failed to pay for their ticket.
Persons who are unable to provide valid proof of identification.
Persons holding tickets proven to be invalid.
Aircraft

Spring Airlines has a fleet consistling solely of Airbus 320 passenger jets. As one of the world's most popular passenger jets, Airbus 320 has been proven safe, comfortable and reliable. Our fleet is expanding every year.
On-flight refreshments

In order to keep traveling costs to a minimum, Spring Airlines has removed the cost of on-board catering. Please note that no free meals are available on board any of our flights.
Terms and conditions for tickets of minors

Eligibility guidelines.Children must be accompanied by an adult when flying upon a Spring Airlines flight. A child ticket can only be purchased along with the ticket of an accompanying adult.
Those under two years of age at the time of traveling are eligible for an infant ticket. Those from 2-12 years of age at the time of traveling must purchase a child ticket.
Those passengers carrying a ticket they are not eligible for will not be allowed to board and are solely responsible for expenses incurred.
Please consider your requirements carefully before purchasing.
Children holding an air ticket shall have access to a baggage allowance of 15 kg. Please note that ticket holders are allowed only one item of carry-on luggage, which is subject to the restrictions specified above.
Holders of infant tickets are not permitted baggage allowance.
Child ticket price will be 50% of the published full price of an economy class fare. Spring Airlines will provide appropriate seating for the child. The fuel surcharge for a child ticket will be charged at a 50% rate, and no airport construction fee will be charged for children.
Infant ticket price will be 10% of the published full price of economy class fare. No seat will be allocated to infants. Any infant occupying a seat will be required to pay a child ticket price. Any one adult traveler is only permitted to travel with one infant at infant cost. Infants do not have to pay fuel surcharge or airport construction fee. Additional infant travelers will be required to pay child ticket costs.
Senior citizens

Definition:
Senior citizens are defined as those aged 70 and above.
Prior to flying, senior citizens must submit documentation declaring them fit to travel from an officially designated source.
Passengers aged 60 - 70 years are not designated senior citizens; although notice should be served to the carrier is the passenger requires extra assistance during the flight. The passenger will then be designated disabled for the purposes of the airline.
Senior citizens seeking to travel with Spring Airlines should notify the customer service department of Spring Airlines during the online booking process.
Ill and disabled passengers

For each flight a maximum of two passenger requiring wheelchairs can be transported. Wheelchair and oxygen tank may be provided upon prior request and arrangement.
Those in need of medical assistance may be refused of carriage. To be accepted for carriage, our prior consent shall be sought and we will require satisfactory hospital certification for approval.
Spring Airlines reserves the right to deny carriage to any passenger, even if a ticket has already been purchased.
All those who fall under the disabled classification must obtain a Special Passenger's Transportation Application Form from Spring Airlines before booking tickets. Permission to travel will be granted by Spring Airlines in accordance with company guidelines.
Carriage for pregnant passengers

We transport pregnant women if they are of less than 32 weeks pregnancy in case that they have not been certified as unsuitable for flying by a doctor. Women between 32 and 35 weeks pregnant require written confirmation from their doctor. The doctor's letter should be supplied within 72 hours of departure and include the doctor's signature and the stamp of the local medical authority. For passenger safety, women over 35 weeks pregnant are not permitted to fly with Spring Airlines. Those unsure of the delivery date, those within four weeks of delivery date and those expecting multiple births are not permitted to fly. It is also not permissible for woman to fly less than seven days after childbirth. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Ticket class

Spring Airlines offers only economy class tickets, though three sub-classes of ticket are available for purchase. These tickets offer different levels of pre-flight service and flexibility at different prices. Regardless of ticket classes or price, the service on board the aircraft will be the same. Class A - Offers greater flexibility for canceling and altering flight plans.
Class B - Cheaper priced ticket suitable to those who do not require the flexibility of the Class A service. Passengers flying Class B receive the same great care on board, though with greater restriction on pre-flight alterations.
Class C - Class C tickets offer minimal flexibility to those wishing to cancel or alter their flights.
Children Class

For an alteration made 2 to 24 hours before departure, an alteration fee of 5% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For an alteration made within 2 hours prior to the flight departure, an alteration fee of 10% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. Alterations made after flight departure will incur a chare of 30% of the original ticket fare.
Alterations are only permissible to flights of the same standard. Any additional cost caused by an alteration must be paid by the passenger.
Reservations
Reservations made successfully will be preserved for 60 minutes. The system will cancel your reservation if your payment is failed or you fail to pay for your ticket within 60 minutes.

Class B

When a cancellation is made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time, a cancellation fee of 10% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For a cancellation applied for 2 to 24 hours prior to the flight departure, a cancellation fee of 20% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. There will be no refunds for cancellations made after departure.

Alterations
When an alteration is made 24 hours or more before departure, an alteration fee of 5% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For an alteration made 2 to 24 hours before departure, an alteration fee of 10% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. For an alteration made within 2 hours prior to the flight departure, an alteration fee of 20% of the original ticket fare will be incurred. No alterations can be made after departure.
Alterations are only permissible to flights of the same standard. Any additional cost caused by an alteration must be paid by the passenger.

Alterations made after flight departure will incur a chare of 30% of the original ticket fare.
Reservations
Reservations made successfully will be reserved for 60 minutes. The system will cancel your reservation if you fail to pay for your ticket within 60 minutes.

For child ticket alteration and cancelation, the processing fee rate will be calculated according to the regulations of Class A tickets. (70% of the full price or more).

Class C

Cancellations & alterations
Tickets of Class C are sold at the highest discount and are subject to the least flexible terms and conditions. They can only be booked and paid for through the website.
There will be no refunds after purchasing a class C ticket. Only air tax and fuel surcharges can be refunded.
No alterations and transfers to other flights can be made to class C tickets after purchasing.
Notes:
Passengers cancelling bookings due to ill health must submit a sealed document of diagnosis from a medical officer at county administration level or higher. No cancellation fee will be charged to those who meet this requirement. If accompanying passengers also wish to cancel, only one other from that party may do so without incurring a cancellation fee.
Complaints and suggestions

If you feel unsatisfied in any way with the service that Spring Airlines has provided, please notify your travel consultant so that we can resolve the issue and avoid any similar problems occurring during your trip.

Compensation

Any liability we have for damage will be reduced by any negligence on your part which causes or contributes to the damage in accordance with applicable law.
We will not be liable for damage to checked or unchecked baggage unless such damage is caused by our negligence and such Baggage was within our control or custody.
Except in the case of an act of intent to cause damage, our liability in the case of damage to checked baggage and unchecked baggage shall be limited to amount designated. If the weight of the baggage is not recorded on the baggage identification tag, it is presumed that the total weight of the checked baggage does not exceed the applicable free baggage allowance for the class of carriage concerned. If in the case of checked baggage, a higher value is declared in writing pursuant to an excess valuation facility, our liability shall be limited to such higher declared value.
We will not be liable for any damage arising from our compliance with applicable laws or government rules and regulations or from your failure to comply with the same.
Except where other specific provision is made in these Terms and conditions, we shall be liable to you only for recoverable compensatory damages for proven losses and costs in accordance with applicable law.
We are not liable for any damage caused by your baggage. You shall be responsible for any damage caused by your baggage to other persons or property, include Spring Airlines property.
We shall have no liability whatsoever for damage to articles or items not permitted to be contained in checked and unchecked baggage including but not limited to fragile or perishable items, items having a special value, such as money, jewelery, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, negotiable papers, securities, or other valuables, business documents, passports and other identification documents, title deeds or samples.
We are not responsible for any illness, or disability, including death, attributable to your physical condition or for the aggravation of such condition.
The contract of carriage including these terms and conditions and exclusions or limits of liability, applies to our authorized agents, servants, employees and representatives to the same extent as they apply to us. The total amount recoverable from us and from such authorized agents, servants, employees and representatives shall not exceed the amount of our own liability if any.
Liability Statement

You understand and agree that Spring Airlines shall not be liable for any loss, injury, expense or damage to persons or property resulting, directly or indirectly, from (1) the acts of omissions of travel suppliers, including but not limited to delays, over-bookings, cancellation of services, cessation of operations, accidents or failures of equipment, or changes in fares, itineraries or schedules; or (2) acts of God, fires, earthquakes, floods, climatic peculiarities, acts of governmental authorities, civil unrest, strikes, riots, theft, disease, accidents or failures related to the public internet, telecommunications lines or facilities, or third party technology systems, or any other cause beyond the control of Spring Airlines website.
Copyright and trademark

Any of the content, include but not limited to, graphics, images, characters and website programs are the property of Spring Airlines under the protection of Trademark Law, Copyright Law and all related laws of P.R.C. No one shall download, copy or reuse the part and whole content without being authorized by Spring Airlines.
